How to Install Kodi 17/18 on Firestick, Fast & Easy

Installing Kodi on Firestick is easy, you can follow our simple steps and you will have a choice of Kodi 17 (Krypton) or Kodi 18 (Leia, beta) which is easy to install on your Firestick. And the same steps can also be applied to your Fire TV.

How to Install Kodi on Firestick

Here is a step by step guide how to install Kodi version 17 (Krpyton) or 18 (Leia) on your Firestick.

  1. Click Settings.
  2. Choose My Fire TV.
  3. Choose Developer Options.
  4. Choose Apps from Unknown Sources.
  5. Click Turn On.
  6. Click Home then Search.
  7. Type Downloader and click.
  8. If your Firestick doesn’t have the Downloader App installed, click the Downloader Icon to download it.

    -Click Open to run Downloader.
    -If a warning appears, click Allow.
    -Click OK in the Quick Start Guide.

  9. In the section “Enter the URL of the website you want to load or the file you want to download” press the select button on your remote to bring up the keyboard and type the URL: then GO.

How to Install Kodi 17 (Krypton) on Firestick

  1. Click Android.
  2. Now you will see all the download options for Kodi. Depending on what version of your Firestick you have, you’ll have to choose between ARM 32-bit and ARM 64-bit. For older versions of Firestick choose ARM 32-bit. For newer versions of Firestick choose ARM 64-bit.
  3. Wait Download.
  4. After complete then install.
  5. Done.

How to Install Kodi 18 (Leia) on Firestick

  1. Click on Older Releases then here.
  2. Under File Name, select android/
  3. Click arm/.
  4. Choose Kodi-18.0-Leia_beta5-armeabi-v7a.apk
  5. Wait Download.
  6. Install.
